High Pressure Copper Heat Pipe Vacuum Tubes
Heat Pipe is closed and instead of water flowing in the centre of the vacuum tubes, a hollow tube is inserted through the length of the tube. This special tube contains a small amount of special liquid that acts as heat transfer medium. The hollow chamber is made under vacuum conditions which cause the fluid to vaporise at lower temperatures as a result of the low pressure. The vapor rises to a condenser bulb (heat dissipator) where it is cooled back to a liquid.
Copper heat pipes are used because they can absorb and transfer heat very efficiently with virtually no energy loss. This technology allows the energy to be transferred indirectly to the hot water system.
Our High-Pressure System is our most popular product as it is a self-supporting efficient and fast heating system. It does not contain water in its vacuum tubes thus ensuring that energy is quickly accumulated and transferred, the tubes are durable and the system is designed to handle great amounts of water pressure. The system is ideal for areas with high water pressure like cities and towns which have municipal water feed.
Working Principle
The vacuum tubes in the system are closed and do not contain water but rather contains a copper heat pipe, thus transferring the heat absorbed from the sun through the copper bulb which is inserted directly into the tank. As the water is heated it rises and is then fed into the hot water pipe.
