Low pressure Vacuum Tubes

These heat tubes utilise an open vacuum tube. Water actually fills the inner vacuum and is heated internally by the sun. Warm water is lighter than cold water and rises to the top of the tube where it fills the collector. The heavier cold water sinks to the bottom of the vacuum tube to replace the heated water and to be reheated by the sun. This technology allows the energy to be transferred directly to the hot water system.

Our Low-Pressure System is our most cost-efficient system and can be installed on almost any wall or roof structure. It is a self-efficient water heating system for areas with low water pressure such as rural areas.

Working Principle

In a low-pressure system, the vacuum tubes are filled with cold water from the tanks, which is then heated up directly by the sun inside the tube. The hot water rises into the tank and the cold water pushes down into the tube.
